Womb wellness + Self-care

I am divine feminine and fierce!

Greetings Beings,

I am practicing honoring, valuing, and caring for my womb from a more intentional place. Intentionally on every level, from the food I consume to the supplements I take and the crystals, I meditate with. In honor, of National Reproductive and Sexual health awareness Day tomorrow, let’s hold space for the omnipotent portal of life – The WOMB.

Mama Maat, Pilar Maat Grant of birthmama, said something so simplistic and profound about the womb. I’m paraphrasing but, ‘’Imagine every egg in your womb, as a possibility to be birthed.’’

Did you know your ovaries develop while in the womb, so technically while your mother grew inside your grandmother, you were there too?  Imagine the power, the magic, the knowledge you hold. Imagine the generational health and legacy you could create simply by practicing self-care.

Loving and prioritizing yourself can result in generational health. Patience and consistency can result in generational health.  Being honest with yourself and letting go of what no longer serves you can result in generational health. Simply not f*cking that one that you know isn’t for you can result in generational health.

At the age of 24, I can recall having a moment with friends after a night of partying, where I explained my reasoning for practicing celibacy.

‘’I am not interested in having such an intimate exchange of energy with another while I work to master my own.’’

Sometimes you must hit the pause button and be one with yourself.

I am practicing the ritual of holding space for myself.  Taking the time to be silent and still. Not just through meditation but taking vows of silence even if just for a few hours. I intentionally hold space to connect with the I in I, to hear and understand guidance from the Most-High.  The ho'oponopono prayer a traditional Hawaiian chant is one of my favorites to speak over my womb. ‘’ I’m sorry, please forgive me, I thank you, I love you.’’ And repeat.

My rising ritual consists of a few things but here are the basics – waking up, drinking water, meditating, journaling, and reading for at least 15 minutes. I create my daily task/intention list and start my day.  I am not perfect, but I practice. Even on those days, you don’t want to show up, do it for just 2 minutes. Courtesy of James Clear, author of Atomic Habits. Life-changing read but I digress.

Each day is a new opportunity, how will you show up? Create your own rising ritual, whether 1 hour or 15 minutes. Avoid your cell phone and perform at least 3 activities that help center and inspire you.

Peace and blessings my Beautiful Beings
